Recognized as one of Maine's most collectible artists, by  Maine Home + Design magazine, April 2010

David Estey is an award-winning painter in Belfast, Maine.  He has lived, taught, exhibited and sold around Baltimore/Washington: Philadelphia, PA; Charlotte, NC; and Mid-Coast, ME.

He is known for his dramatic, abstract-expressionist paintings and drawings.  He has a BFA degree from Rhode Island School of Design and a MSA degree from George Washington University.  He studied a year in Rome, extensively at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.
