Army Illustrations

Upon my return from Italy and RISD graduation, I was drafted into the army and ended up at FT. Meade, MD producing recruiting materials during the Vietnam War. The work in this segment is a sample of the silkscreen posters, pamphlets and TV images I designed and produced during two years as a soldier and two years as a civilian illustrator. During that period, I studied advertising graphics and copywriting, taught art for the NSA Fine Arts Club and their children, painted commissioned portraits, and continued my fine art studies. I also met my first wife,

Susie, from Vienna, Austria and married.
